Shop Amazon, Help Appalachia (Awesome, Right?)

Do you shop from Amazon? Do you know about the AmazonSmiles program?

AmazonSmiles is a program through Amazon that donates a portion of your Amazon purchase price to the registered charitable organization of your choice — like Monkey Do Project!

Although it’s not a replacement for your regular giving to Monkey Do Project (Amazon donates .5% of eligible purchases), it is a great way to give some extra support for our work in Appalachia and The Monkey Do Project!

How to Use AmazonSmiles to Donate to Monkey Do Project

1. Go to https://smile.amazon.com/ and sign in using your regular Amazon account information.

2. Type in “Monkey Do Project” into the Search box.

Give to Monkey Do Project through Amazon shopping!

Then, choose Monkey Do Project as your charity to support.

3. Once you’ve done that, you will notice that the Amazon banner (at the top) turns dark, and the Amazon logo now says “AmazonSmile.” You will also see “Supporting: Monkey Do Project Inc.” at the top.

That’s it! Shop away and any eligible purchases — products marked “Eligible for AmazonSmile donation” on their product detail pages — will result in a small percentage of the sale back to Monkey Do Project.

Remember, whenever you want to shop Amazon after, be sure to use the https://smile.amazon.com/ link! It’s exactly the same as shopping Amazon the way that you are accustomed to, but a portion of the sale will be donated to Monkey Do Project to help Appalachian people in need.

Thanks so much!
